Viv Dawes has worked with young people and with individuals struggling with addictions for over 10 years. 
As a Senior Practitioner initially with ‘Acorn’ drug and Alcohol service, and then with RAPt, she has worked in one to one and group work sessions with women with serious addictions to alcohol and drugs in a local female prison — using a number of well known therapeutic  approaches such as Cognitive  Behavioural Therapy,Motivational Interviewing and Brief Solution Focussed Therapy. 
Vivien has delivered training and seminars within a number of charities and organisations including the NHS where she was also trained.
Having worked with young homeless people and men and women within the criminal justice system, Vivien brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding.
Vivien is FDAP registered as a drug and alcohol professional.
