Healing-An Adventure into the Impossible. By Bill Johnson

When Jesus walked the earth, people believed that sickness was from the devil, and that healing was from God.
Things have dramatically changed in two thousand years. Nowadays, many think affliction is allowed (and sometimes sent) by God to build character, and those who pursue the ministry of healing are deceived by the devil.
While the thinking of the Church has changed, God hasn’t. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus healed every person who came to Him asking to be made well. There were no exceptions. It didn’t seem to matter if they had great or weak faith, or even sin issues. They all left His presence with their miracle.

Take Hold Of That for which Christ took hold of you By Tim Grant

I have been on a journey ever since I became a Christian to fulfil the purpose that God has for my life. I remember moments after discovering that there really is a God being impacted by the thought that if there is a God then there must be a purpose for every one of our lives and I had better find out what His purpose was for mine and seek to fulfil it. Wouldn't it be awful to come to the end of your life and discover that you never really fulfilled the purpose for which God put you here on earth?

I don’t think I can imagine anything more desperate than standing before my Lord and Saviour and having to say, “Sorry, I never really understood what it was that You wanted me to do”.

Expect Great Things From God! Do great things for God!

The prophets are saying world wide that there is an open door that God has placed before us that we might step through it into all that God has for us. Clearly God wants to raise our levels of expectation. Realising this I felt God asking me two questions. They were similar to the ones Elisha asked the woman in 2 Kings 4:1-7.

The first was
“What are you expecting from God?” I believe that there is a direct correlation between what our expectations are of God and what we receive from Him. We can see this in II Kings 13:18-19 The kings attitude to the word of God through the prophet Elisha and his expectation of God limited the outworking of the prophets word over him and the nation of Israel. How often have we had a half hearted response to a prophetic word because our expectations of God are low and so limited the out working of that word in our lives?
Jesus sought to increase the disciples expectations after he cursed the fig tree in Matt 21:19-22

Launch Out Into The Deep Lk 5:1-11

I don’t think you need to be Einstein to realize that these are significant times for the church.
I believe that God is calling us just as he did Simon Peter (Lk 5:4) to “launch out into the deep with Him”. The potential for us as His church is phenomenal.
