Our Vision

heart to heart is born out of a desire to link women together so that we might be a point of strength and encouragement to each other as we accept Father’s promise;

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will give you a heart to know me. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You will live in the land I have given you; you will be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ezek 36:26-28)

Father is calling women everywhere at this time to embrace all that He has for us and to be all He intended us to be. It means having the courage, the determination and the heart to become the person God means us to be.

Father is looking for those women who are ready to have their hearts captivated by Him, who are looking to be built up by Him and who are going to work out their lives to see more of the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven.

Such women who have their security in Him are natural people releasers. They can’t help themselves! They love to see others soar as they go after their dreams and are there every step of the way, encouraging and empowering each other as they make the journey.

Our God is relational to His core. He longs to share all that He is with us. He longs to have us involved in everything He wants to do around us. God has ‘set eternity in our hearts’ (Eccl 3:11) and we each have our part to play. Our piece of the jigsaw to put in place. We don’t yet see the completed picture. And yet, we are the crowning part of His creation and He has placed within us an essence of His glory. It’s all there for us to discover.

How do we do that?

By allowing Him to do the surgery, so sign the consent form!

Let Him exchange our nature for more of His. It’s only as we let go of the old, be it good, bad or indifferent, that we are able to walk into the fullness of our new life. Let Him take away all those things that have held us back from who we are meant to be, to restore us to His original plan for us, to ‘reign in life through Jesus Christ’ (Rom 5:17).

This is the kind of heart we need for the Spirit to be at home in, soft and pliable to His impressions, able and looking to be moved by a sensitivity to His leading.

How does Father respond?

Remember, it is God Who first sought us out. He promises that He will take us into covenant with Himself, He has chosen us, and loved us first. We are His people. His Bride. We have a glimpse of heaven in His ‘ownership’ of our lives as we are made ready like a bride dressed in her wedding gown to meet her husband.

‘I heard a loud voice shout from the throne: God’s home is now with His people. He will live with them and they will be His own. Yes, God will make His home among His people. He will wipe all tears from their eyes and there will be no more death, suffering, crying or pain. These things of the past are gone forever. Then the One sitting on the throne said: I am making everything new. Write down what I have said. My words are true and can be trusted. Everything is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life giving fountain to everyone who is thirsty. All who win the victory will be given these blessings. I will be their God and they will be My people.’ (Rev 21:3-7)

Father’s plan for His involvement in our lives has been well and truly settled! He intends to be everything that we need Him to be regardless of our personal history. For His part, Father God sees us in all of His glory. And while we’re waking up to the truth of this glorious reality, He provides the water of life to refresh and restore our spirits as we walk towards our goal.

What are we to do?

Prov 4:23 tells us, ‘above all else, guard your heart, for it is the well spring of life.’

Matthew Henry says, ‘we must maintain a holy jealousy of ourselves, and set a strict guard, accordingly, upon all the avenues of the soul; keep our hearts from doing hurt and getting hurt, from being defiled by sin and disturbed by trouble; keep them as our jewel, as our vineyard; keep a conscience void of offence; keep out bad thoughts; keep up good thoughts; keep the affections upon right objects and in due bounds.’

Out of our hearts flow the issues of life. Let’s make sure that what comes out is to good effect and brings glory to God and builds up others.

Let’s make sure we don’t get sidetracked and are able to meet those ‘destiny defining moments’ secure in our relationship with God and with each other. Such women are able to rise above the hindrances along the way and realise the possibilities that God has placed before us.

heart to heart is the place to do that together!
