Now is your chance to join us on a mission

The prophets are saying that God has placed an open door before us that he wants us to step through into a year of increased opportunities. We at Spearhead know that this a word from God for us and are already preparing to take those opportunities that He has placed before us.We would like to give you the opportunity to join us as we step into all exciting adventures God has for us in the coming year. When I heard those prophesies I felt God remind me that to take full advantage of the opportunities He is presenting us with we need to no only see them but to be bold enough in Him to take them otherwise we will finish another year disappointed waiting to fulfil God's plans for us. So Join us this year in the United Kingdom or overseas as part of a short term mission team. For more information about missions click here

MISSION TO UGANDA PLAYING THE HUNCH

What a mighty God we serve!  On October 21st our team of seven, led by Tim and Kim Grant arrived at Entebbe, Kampala to meet with Joel Amonde of R.E.D Ministries.  The trip came about when Tim was prompted by God to read an email from Joel that he had already deleted unread, and which was calling him to go to Uganda!

Unbeknown to us, R.E.D Ministries was based in Wabigalo, a slum in Kampala, with open sewers and extreme poverty.  We later discovered that 35 of the throng of children around us were AIDS orphans being cared for by church members.

Ministering in Kitale

Tim Eldridge and I travelled to Kitale in Kenya where, following the recent troubles, there was much tension. There are many misplaced people living in refugee camps with hundreds of people living in tents and makeshift shelters. These people are finding it exceptionally hard to survive as they have lost their jobs and most, if not all, their possessions. Many have experienced much violence and loved ones have been killed leaving them with no source of income and reliant on the generosity of others. They are often unable to return home as their homes no longer exist or have been taken over by others from another tribe. If you would like to help financially please contact us by clicking here.
