Reports: Ukraine

It was a really good first trip to Ukraine for Spearhead Ministries. I felt that God is opening doors and pastors hearts and that they are open to learning more of God. It was a blessing to encourage them and we look forward to seeing how new relationships that were forged will continue to develop and we are in faith that many lives will be impacted.

Although it was a really long journey (by plane, car and train) we were blessed to see my friends who are ministering there and burning with a passion for God. It would be great to go back to them and encourage them in ministry and help them to build up the kingdom in the south and west of Ukraine. They are lovely couples and are leading really good churches. We know that God is at work.

We went to visit a man I know who was laying in bed feeling really weak as he was recovering from illness and also depressed after his wife's recent death. Tim and I went to pray for him and while we prayed Tim had a word that one morning he would get up and he would feel his strength return to him. The next morning he was to be seen outside his home sweeping the snow happily and full of joy! His neighbours and friends said that he is like a different man. He himself said that he felt much lighter when he was prayed for and that God is truly great!
